Reina and 1266 Queen Street West win 2026 Future House Awards
Two BDP Quadrangle projects, Reina and 1266 Queen Street West, have earned international recognition at the 2026 Future House Awards.
Both Reina and 1266 Queen Street West were honoured in the Residential Towers category, reflecting our commitment to creating homes that support everyday life and strengthen the communities around them.
Organized by Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, the awards celebrate innovation in residential architecture, recognizing projects that advance design, craftsmanship, materiality and sustainability.

Reina brings a fresh perspective to condominium living on The Queensway. Led by women across design and development and shaped through extensive community consultation, the project combines gently curved architecture with warm, welcoming interiors. Family-focused amenities, including a children’s playroom beside the gym, creative spaces and generous outdoor gathering areas, translate residents’ ideas into places that encourage connection.

1266 Queen Street West located in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood, will introduce approximately 358 purpose-built rental homes. Its architecture draws on the neighbourhood’s industrial and railway heritage, while daylight-filled homes, active storefronts and shared amenities support long-term liveability. Targeting LEED Gold, Toronto Green Standard Version 4 Tier 2 and Zero Carbon Building – Design Standard certification, the project brings ambitious environmental goals to urban rental housing.

Congratulations to our clients, collaborators and project teams whose vision and dedication made these achievements possible.
