As Principal and Business Director, Jesse leads strategic planning, oversees financial performance, studio operations, and business development in the Toronto studio. He works closely with firm leadership to align business performance and long-term regional growth objectives. Jesse also leads the global evolution of Human Space, BDP’s inclusive design practice, advancing accessibility, wellness, and human-centred design.
His project experience and expertise span a range of project typologies, from accessibility and inclusion evaluations for major corporations and educational campuses to community-centred urban design, architecture and interior design initiatives. Jesse’s work on guideline and framework development, innovative research, and public engagement has influenced major sport, transit, recreation, healthcare, and education projects from concept to completion.
An active voice in the architecture and real estate community, Jesse mentors and educates on the importance of accessibility, equity and wellness in the built environment. As a member of the ULI Global Health Leaders Network and a Fitwel Ambassador, he advocates for design that serves everyone. Recognized nationally, he was awarded the 2020 Emerging Leaders Award by Construction Canada for excellence and inspiration in architecture, engineering, and construction.
