Stefanie Siu Chong

Stefanie is passionate about people and believes that strong relationships are fundamental to the success of both projects and practice. Her collaborative leadership style is grounded in thoughtful problem-solving, open communication and an ability to bring diverse teams together around a shared vision. 

A licensed architect in both Canada and the United Kingdom, Stefanie brings more than 20 years of international experience across complex housing, mixed-use and master planning projects. Since joining BDP Quadrangle in 2011, she has become a key project and practice leader, guiding large multidisciplinary teams from early concept and planning through design, coordination and delivery. Her experience spans multi-building and multi-phase developments, heritage integration, public realm strategies and complex zoning and massing challenges, giving her a strong foundation in city-building and urban development. 

Her portfolio includes major Toronto projects such as Theatre District Residences and RIU Hotel, 400 King Street West and the award-winning 307 Lake Shore Boulevard East, alongside residential and master-planned communities across the Greater Toronto Area. 

As Head of BDP’s Toronto Studio, Stefanie provides overall leadership for the studio and helps to guide its strategic direction, culture and continued growth in the North American market. Building on her longstanding leadership of the studio’s People and Culture initiatives, she remains deeply committed to mentorship, talent development and creating an environment where people can thrive, while strengthening connections between Toronto and BDP’s wider global practice.
