BDP Quadrangle is seeking a Receptionist to join the firm. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a sharp attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, a willingness to assist in a wide variety of tasks and learn new office technologies. Please note that this position requires you to be in the office 5 days a week.

Overview of the role and responsibilities
- Utilize Microsoft Teams technology to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals as needed
- Greet guests, take coats, offer beverages, and escort them to the appropriate meeting room
- Maintain awareness of Studio member presence and daily activity to support visitor inquiries, internal coordination, and safety requirements
- Arrange outgoing courier shipments, track received packages, and notify colleagues when items are available for pick-up
- Work closely with the Administrative Team to coordinate meeting room requirements, including set-up and clean-up, and communicate regular and ad hoc vendor site visits
- Ensure the reception area and kitchenette remain stocked, organized, and presentable
- Assist the Administrative Team with formatting, reviewing, and distributing documents, and maintaining the project contact database
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
About you
- Minimum of two years of experience in a client-facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with colleagues, clients, and visitors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Outlook calendar management is considered a strong asset
- Prior experience reviewing, proofreading, and formatting office documents is considered a strong asset
- Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- EA support is beneficial but not required
