Academy of Urbanism Young Urbanists - Solving Intractable Problems Using Creativity

When: Tuesday 30th June 18.30 – 21.00
Where: BDP, 16 Brewhouse Yard, London EC1V 4LJ

Planning director Anna Sinnott will host an Academy of Urbanism Young Urbanists event in the London studio. This is the second in the 2015 series exploring The Creative City and will be chaired by Charles Landry of Comedia, the inventor of the creative city concept.  Speakers include Thom Aussems (Trudo), Louise Dredge (The Glass-House Community Led Design) and Liane Hartley (Mend/Urbanistas UK) who will use their own work examples to demonstrate how creative solutions have been found for complex urban challenges. Refreshments will be provided and the event is free for Young Urbanists members and £5 for non-members. Tickets can be booked using this link http://www.academyofurbanism.org.uk/events/event-solving-intractable-problems-using-creativity/

The evening provides an excellent networking opportunity for students and young professionals to find out more about the expanding Young Urbanists network and how to develop knowledge of the principles, techniques and processes of good urban design.
