BDP wins IBP Communication and PR Award

BDP’s Communications team has won the In House Communications Team category at the inaugural Communication and PR Awards organised by International Building Press (IBP). The team won for its work during 2012.

The awards are intended to showcase and give recognition to in house PR departments and PR consultancies working in the built environment including architecture, construction, and residential and commercial property, and were announced last night (20 June) at an event in London.

“The BDP team’s cheerful use of social media, coupled with its more traditional methods of communicating business demonstrated a clear understanding of the tool kit available to get their message across – this nudged them ahead of the competition” the judges said.

In addition Vanessa Brown, Head of Communications, was shortlisted for Communicator of the Year.
