Success for BDP at Archiboo Web Awards

BDP’s in-house communications team has been recognised at the inaugural Archiboo Web Awards winning the award for Best Use of Technology. The practice was shortlisted in three categories including Best Home Page and Best Use of Social Media.

The judges said: “We enjoyed its simple navigation, good text size on mobile and lots of engaging content, including video, leading to a good number of visits. Its international successes are strong and the UX is good.” There was special praise for the use of Pinterest which the judges said “makes sense given the likely audience and it’s really good to see a large firm experimenting in this way.”

The Archiboo Awards celebrate the practices challenging convention, those who are leading the transition from static websites to create seamless and intuitive user experience.

Radek Kaminski, web and intranet manager said: “We worked hard with Netcel to build a website that represents BDP’s culture and our services. Technology allows us to improve user experience by providing more personalised, localised content based on location and visit history and to adapt to different channels. The award for Best Use of Technology is a great recognition of the direction we took while developing our website and our continued journey towards more advanced tools to give our visitors the best possible experience.”
