Project details

Forming part of a wider strategic urban design masterplan, the proposed development for the Zona Dorada in Acapulco transforms three large privately owned sites into landscaped public realm within the city.

The proposals for the mixed use development centre on an innovative redevelopment and extension of the Acapulco Convention Centre. A vibrant cultural quarter offering retail, leisure, food and beverage and civic facilities connects the new centre with the world famous beach. An aquarium and observation tower provide new landmarks for Acapulco and serve as a symbol for the city’s aspirations for regeneration and international growth in tourism and business.
