As chair of design and head of workplace, Mark champions the very highest standards of design in the delivery of world class projects.
Mark is part of the studio management team and has a business development and client liaison role.
He joined BDP in 1985 and worked on our projects for Reuters and the Singapore Treasury before leaving in 1988. In 1993 he co-founded Amalgam, an award winning collaborative design studio then spent four years as director of interior design at HKS Architects before rejoining BDP as design director.
Mark writes regularly for the design press and has judged the Mixology design awards since their inception in 2005. His project for Avon Cosmetics won the 2011 BCO best Fit Out of Workplace award.
BDP was recently described to me as being as much a university as a design firm, that struck a chord. Following graduation I joined BDP’s studio in London. The experience and philosophy I gained from the firm and people here then has stayed with me, it’s what brought me back.
