Women in Architecture

Architect director Sue Emms is one of the panellists for a Women in Architecture discussion hosted in our Manchester studio. The theme of the event is Working in the Northern Powerhouse and Sue will present some of the current projects that she and her team are working on in the region. Other panellists are Victoria Turner (Levitt Bernstein) and Rachel Haugh (Simpson Haugh) and Emily Booth (AJ) will chair the discussion which will look at the specific challenges and opportunities for women architects working in the north of England.  Following the presentations there will be a panel discussion and Q&A from the audience.

BDP is a member of the Women in Architecture Partnership Programme in association with the Architects’ Journal and The Architectural Review. The programme supports the campaign to help change the industry for the better, celebrates the best design by female architects from around the world and promotes role models for young women in practice.
