Project details

The refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed building to its former glory as one of the West End’s most eminent residences. The upper floors house 25 apartments with a world-class medical centre on the lower floors. Harcourt House was originally a mansion block dating from 1907, which has been subsequently converted into a number of residential, office and medical suites. Many ornate original features have been maintained, together with its attractive period facade overlooking Cavendish Square. This stonework façade was restored, repaired and cleaned and windows replaced with new, thermally efficient conservation windows matching the original design.

The acoustic challenge was to retain the historic decorative finishes whilst achieving current building regulation standards.
