Project details

New 750 pupil second level college. This 6,864m² building was constructed under the Dept of Education and Skills Guidelines and is an ultra efficient building that achieves extremely impressive energy results.

The design team was keen to produce a building with a carbon impact considerably below that of a standard school design, without the need for additional expenditure. The design team worked together from the start of the project to carefully optimise the buildings layout, orientation, room locations, and façade details.
