Chris leads the lighting team in the Manchester studio.

He was drawn to lighting design due to its creative balance of science and art. He regularly speaks at professional events exploring the topics of both light and darkness, and works collaboratively with a number of design collectives.

His projects include Manchester Cathedral, the UK Pavilion at Milan Expo and The Dark Art Experience room at PLDC Rome.

Piccadilly Undercroft

Meadowhall, one of only six super-regional shopping centres in the UK, houses 1.4 million sq ft of prime retail and leisure space on the site of a former steelworks and attracts over 25 million shoppers a year.

Blackburn Meadows is a Biomass Power Plant generating energy by converting locally sourced waste wood into electricity. Located in Tinsley, Sheffield on the site of the former cooling towers, it acts as a new landmark signalling a major gateway to the city.
