Project details

The Catterick Integrated Care Campus (CICC) is a new health and care facility being constructed in Catterick Garrison, Richmondshire. It is a joint venture between the National Health Service (NHS) and the Ministry of Defence (MOD), aiming to provide healthcare services for Armed Forces personnel and their families in Catterick Garrison, as well as residents of the wider Richmondshire area.

The primary goal of the CICC is to create a community hub for the Primary Care Network, integrating the services of local general practitioners (GPs) and encouraging social and economic development within the district. The facility will offer a range of healthcare services under one roof, including primary care, advanced primary care, mental health services, physiotherapy, NHS dentistry for children and adults with disabilities, and voluntary and community healthcare support providers.

The building design of the CICC is focused on sustainability and aims to achieve a rating of Excellent under the MoD's DREAM environmental assessment method. It is also designed to be Net Zero Carbon, prioritising energy efficiency and reduced running costs. The project has received positive feedback from various stakeholders, including representatives from the NHS, MOD, and local elected officials. It is seen as a significant milestone in bringing healthcare services closer to residents and improving access to NHS services in the area.
