Project details

Situated in the historical Si’fang Road Precinct of Shibei District, Qingdao. This regeneration project covers an area of approximately 130,000 sq m and involves acquiring and optimising 120,000 sq m of buildings, including 106 historically significant buildings. The goal is to analyse and enhance spatial structure, public interfaces, and preservation potential. The focus extends to planning and designing the initial prototype section's public spaces, aiming to create a people-centric community that preserves local culture. The project seeks to elevate spatial quality, streamline traffic, maximise land value, and infuse commercial and cultural vitality through six key industries: cultural experiences, creative retail, dining, leisure, apartments, and industrial offices.
