Project details

A planning strategy for the 17,000 sqm refurbishment of a 22 storey tower in Victoria including major refurbishment, external remodelling, facade upgrade and rooftop destination space, on behalf of Westminster City Council, the building’s occupants.

The refurbishment programme is designed to save the council money by reducing high building maintenance costs and creating a significant income stream through the letting of floors. It also provides an opportunity to improve facilities and workspaces which allow the council to provide a more modern, effective and dynamic service for residents, businesses and visitors.

The key elements of the proposal were amendments to the ground floor facade to make the premises more inviting, replacement windows and the replacement of all plant and building systems including lifts.
